Professionals licensed by the California Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists (CBPELSG) are bound by their Boards' bylaws to either (1) know how to perform their professional work, or (2) preclude themselves from doing that work. CBPELSG licensees in good standing may choose to register as a self-certifying QISP by completing the following steps. QISP Certificate: CBPELSG self-registration will not yield a QISP certificate and licensees will not be listed on the QISP Public Lookup. To earn a QISP certificate, you must complete the QISP Training Program. SMARTS Database: CBPELSG self-registrants will be listed in the SMARTS database when this feature is released later this year.
Read the training materials, then provide your license information in Step 2.
